Transportation

Private transportation is available on both land and sea. However, limited vehicles and vessels don�t meet the increasing demand. A scheduled ferry service is operated under government ferry system and leaves Vaadhoo at 7:00 am and returns at 4:00pm. The ferry service is operated between northern inhabited islands in the Raa Atoll and connects to the Southern ferry system operate in the southern parts of Raa Atoll at Ungoofaaru. A weekly cargo and passengers line is operated between Vaadhoo and Capital, Male�.
